My name is Clara. This is a blog all about me and my wonderfulness (but not my sister Macy - she is the one with boring brown hair). I am extremely funny AND clever, (but not at all grumpy), which you will discover when you read this.
A lady called Laura Clempson thinks she created me five years ago during a lunchbreak when she worked as a puppet maker. But it's not true. I was me all along. Nothing to do with her.
She thinks she's so clever making all these paper dolls and stationery and toys with me on, and doing it in the middle of the night whilst her two little children sleep, blah, blah, blah, boring, boring, boring...
Although I suppose she did make a shop full of things with me on, so she must be a bit nice really.
And to help her make me a world famous superstar (who gets to eat cake all the time), she is entering this splendid competition by Oh My Handmade Goodness.
Laura thinks it would help her expand her business (mostly with things about me) with the knowledge of a mentor, a fabulous advertising opportunity, and a network of incredible support. I think it will mostly help because you can all send me free cake.
So here is her entry. I helped out a lot - mostly with all of the important writing.

Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow! What a fantabulous job you have done Clara. I'm sure Laura is very proud of your effort and I bet some cake reward will be forthcoming.
Laura, it's been so great following your progress this year. I love how social media sends me in unexpected, rewarding directions and a random comment on someone elses's Twitter feed lead me to you and in turn, Clara! As a result, your gorgeous paper dolls made a number of little girls here in Sydney rather happy this past Christmas!
I look forward to seeing all your ideas continue to grow and can't wait to meet your new character, even if he does have boy germs.
Clara, I think you'd very much enjoy a cake here in Australia called a lamington. Maybe if you're nice to the new boy, Laura will make you one?

Clara, if you're ever in Belgium you can come over and have some cake (or eclairs, or meringues or whatever) here too. My husband bakes amazingly well (see, boys can be good too..). Laura might have to draw you a size bigger after your visit though ;)

I'm sure there will be cake on the way for Clara, as long as she's nice to Macy! P.S. We tried lamington when we were over there a few years ago... yum!
