So the last little project in our toilet roll tube craft series was this super simple but extremely awesome game. It is the easiest thing to make, and we've played with it tons.
Roll the dice, and see who can grow their legs the quickest.
We were inspired by Paper Fairy's gorgeous version. Their ones are so pretty, and ours are chock full of a three year olds beautiful creativity and obsession with googly eyes.
To make your own version, all you need is...
~ toilet roll tubes
~ sturdy cardboard
~ pens/paints/decorating materials
~ Cut a strip of cardboard that will snugly fit inside the toilet roll tube. Be sure the tube slides up & down easily.
~ We cut our tubes in half to give more playing space.
~ Draw the body on the tube, and legs that stretch the length of your cardboard strip.
~ Measure out numbers along the side. I used 5mm increments.
~ Voila! An adorable little game that is simple enough for toddlers, and will help them with their counting. The perfect project for a rainy afternoon.
