A parcel arriving this morning marked a very exciting addition to Cupcakes for Clara.
Art prints.
Starting with my two washing line illustrations, I will soon be selling prints of my original collage and watercolour illustrations. And you know what... they are gorgeous!
I am super pleased with the prints. They are from a printers I've never used before so I was a bit nervous but the quality is amazing. Don't you think they would look lovely hung in a child's bedroom?
These ones are A4 sized, and if they sell well I might be able to offer A3 sized prints too.
They are printed on beautiful creamy 280 gsm Aquarello paper (which means watercolour in Italian) and they feel gorgeous! It's a really luxurious paper, and the prints have retained the textures of my original illustrations. I'm thrilled!
The paper is also FSC certified, which means that for every tree used another is planted. Isn't that awesome?
And even more exciting, I will also be offering hand finished personalised versions. They will be embellished with papers, teeny buttons, and other gorgeous bits to make each one unique. A really special gift for someone.

I'm hoping to source a picture frame maker so that I will be able to offer framed prints too - I'll keep you posted on that too.
I would love my art prints to be a strong seller, and I hope to add Clara illustrations to the line up. There *might* also be a couple of super special Christmas ones on the way too. Squeal!
