On Saturday I was lucky enough to be invited to have a stall at the Denzell Garden's Book Festival. It's a local festival set up last year by two lovely ladies passionate about books. Last year the focus was on children's books and local authors, and this year it was expanded to include other genres and also a few stalls.
My stall was half Cupcakes for Clara products and half free colouring activities for children.
This was my product stall. I have only ever set up a stall twice before so I was quite pleased with my display, and thankfully I had lots of positive comments.
*Definitely ignore the very creased tablecloth though!
The whole day was just lovely. The people were nice, the weather was sunny if a little chilly, and sales were good. The turnout was great and everyone seemed to really enjoy themselves.
Unfortunately I didn't get chance to listen to any of the authors speak, and I didn't even snap any photos of the whole event but you can read more about it here.
After my last craft fair experience knocked my confidence somewhat I was super nervous about the festival, but everyone really was lovely and so generous with their comments about my products. And almost half of the them must have said how lovely it would be to see Clara and Macy picture books.
That's definitely the big plan so fingers crossed!
All in all a very good day. And I've been invited back next year already!
